About
The Temekunga Farms Miniature Therapy Horse Program was founded by Daniela Juri in 2024. Daniela has ridden and been around horses for all of her life and has been able to experience the therapeutic effects of horses first-hand. She served as a volunteer at numerous therapeutic riding programs and completed coursework with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International. She also completed and followed the guidance of the the Seven Oaks Farm Miniature Horse Therapy Training Program, located in Hamilton, OH.
We are members of and certified by the Miniature Equine Therapy Standards Association (METSA), insured and our therapy horses are required to go through a rigorous training program before engaging in any visits. Our miniature horses are up to date on their veterinary care, extensively groomed and wear "bun bags" and non-slip hoof wraps when performing indoor visits.
Mission
We bring horses and their healing powers to children and adults that may otherwise not have access to them.
Vision
We aspire to provide access to miniature horse therapy to as many children and adults in need as possible in the counties of Riverside and San Diego.
